Back To Painting

This summer I put my acrylics and canvases away and pulled out my sketchbooks.  Since May of this year I’ve taken 2 semesters of Sketchbook Skool, a brand new online sketchbook school created by author and artist Danny Gregory and artist Koosje Koene. It’s really been amazing being a part of this worldwide artist online community.  You get to know the fantastic teachers, the enthusiastic students and you discover entirely new ways of seeing, creating and discovering new possibilities with your own artistic capabilities.

Semester 3 starts up at the beginning of October and I’m all signed up! In the meantime I’ll still be drawing as now keeping a sketchbook has become a pretty important and fun way to document and celebrate the things I see and do.  But it’s time to get back to painting as well.  So I’ve dusted off my little paint containers and started on a new wood panel.  Here we go…
